Loneliness during separation is one of the most painful feelings one experiences. During this time people may seem distant, resources may be restricted, one’s mind begins to race pondering if the journey towards their aspirations that were once sought to accomplish with such enthusiasm is even worth all the misfortune that accompanies them.
The worse part is, that during these times one may feel like they have no one to turn to, to confide in about their doubts and disbeliefs of their process. A strong sense of faith during these times is often required not only in one’s self to continue on their path that is fixed ahead but in the Almighty One who is a lamp unto thy feet and a light unto thy dark path, who sets crooked paths straight, and who turns stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Faith in God in heart and in mind will cause one to grow exponentially, when one’s mind is focused on what truly matters in the midst of their circumstances. We must all realize our purpose in life and understand that none of us were made to live a life of mediocrity. There is greatness in each of us, but it must be brought out. This process must be done away from distractions, nay sayers, doubters, and all other negative energy that would hender your true growth.
It’s at the time of separation which almost feels like depression that it requires laser focus to differentiate between the two. To fully understand the lessons that are revealed during this time of isolation, which often seem like chaos. In this space one is able to learn on a higher level than if one were in their comfort zone. Your comfort zone, is a never ending cycle of Life’s bombardments with distractions and negative energy that always requires something to be done immediately. This alludes to the often used analogy of putting out small fires in every area of one’s life. We must have the discipline to sever persons or things in areas in our life that are not producing value and positivity in cultivating our growth.
“ An undisciplined life is an insane life.” — Socrates.
Live your life in such a way that people ask what is it about you that makes you seem so successful in living a peaceful lifestyle. Disciplining oneself in seeing the task at hand through despite the circumstance is part of overcoming ones present situation. Keeping an order of priorities with laser focus creates a stronger sense of discipline over time.
Wealth of knowledge is only as impactful if it is turned into practice accruing wisdom over time. The resources given to us during these times of affliction are for us to put into practice. Fire can be a tool or a weapon, but when used as a tool it is far more productive. It can produce warmth, heat for food, light for dark surroundings verus its use as weapon that destroys. Much like fire we often misuse our resources causing more pain in a situation than actually producing positive outcomes in our predicaments. How many burn marks must one get? Until the realization of separation is not meant to be a punishment but a requirement for one to form into who and what they were meant to be.
A caterpillar is seperated from it environment when it forms its silky cocoon and undergoes a transformation into a butterfly. Without this process of the caterpillar separation the formation of the butterfly would never occur. How many people have stopped their own transformation because of the uncertainty of being alone? Or because they feared the absence of knowning the going-ons of their environment around them. No one forces the caterpillar to seal itself into a cocoon. Once the caterpillar has had its fill of food and has roamed enough it senses its time for change, the larva then hangs itself from a leaf and seals itself off from its environment. We can no longer ignore the sense of change that screams inside of all of us for greatness to come forth. We too must seal ourselves off from toxic environments so that we are able to experience true growth. We must commit to change once it has begun, exiting before completion will only lead to us never fulfilling our true potential. The once caterpillar larva which had to crawl now breaks its mold flying out of the old cocoon as a butterfly. Reemergence only occurs once the change is fully completed. If only we accepted the isolation like the larva, not worrying about the circumstances of our environment but trusting in the process. We too might be able to break our current mold and fly away from situations soaring in our growth in life to a new Elevation.
