Dreams Don’t Have Deadlines

Dreams are visions of a possible future concluding in finding out one’s purpose. I believe the dreams that enter our minds and hearts are that from the Creator. Figuring out our purpose is as simple as following our dreams. We often don’t understand how or why we are drawn to certain goals and aspirations but the reality is that by accomplishing these dreams it brings us closer to realizing our purpose.

We dream and believe that because it was in our mental it is not apart of our reality. Our mind is more powerful than we can image, it not only is the control system for our body but for our dreams as well. If we allow others to tamper with our thoughts our dreams become deterred, often vanishing from the realm of possibility that forms reality. It is vital that we protect our mental space, for it is a power engine that only we can fuel by our creativity. If we continue to let outside influences drain us of our creativity we began to lose our unquieness in our indivduality.

DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE ONLY IF YOU PURSUE THEM!

When we began to pursue our dreams we began to learn our capabilities and limitations.

Have you ever dreamed and someone you knew or seen before was present?

Understand that while pursuing your dreams family, friends, acquaintance, and foes will be present. They may try to help or harm (depending on your perspective of their likeness or difference) you in making your dreams into a reality.

The help they provide could be that of a family member telling you, “You can’t achieve that!” or of an acquaintance helping you accomplish a specific project.

Even a foe can provide the right motivation, assuring that you take no shortcuts and put in an efficient amount of work to make your dreams become a part of even their reality.

The word HELP means to provide assistance to. It does not mean it has to come in a specific form. The way it is viewed depends on one’s perspective. Although perspectives, both positive and negative, if viewed the proper way will increase the motivation needed to complete some of life’s most impossible tasks.

Dreams are viewed as Impossible Tasks. How often do we rise from our sleep saying, “That must have been a dream, it couldn’t have been real”.

WHY NOT?! Why can’t the dreams we were given be more than just real in our minds?

“For in dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean or glide over the highest cloud.”- J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

If you try hard enough after you awake, you’re able to remember some parts of your dreams but if one does not spend the time focused on them they often fade away.

Life is too short for one to spend more time in disbelief rather than to believe in themselves.

Belief in one’s self is the catalyst from one’s dreams fading away. Having confidence complements this and produces change of a mental state.

We are our greatest challenge to overcome for we often are our own worst enemy.

Time however is an adversary.

Between lack of confidence and time we often never truly accomplish all we were meant to in the average day never mind a life time.

We may say, “This will take too long to accomplish” or “I dont have that much time” and even “I’ll be too old by then”.

Never realizing that dreams never truly have a deadline. We execute them before they can ever mature into a full thought which can be put into action.

When I was younger, my mother would cook Sunday meals. While in the kitchen I could see all of the ingredents needed for the meal, I could see all the pots, pans, spoons, knives and all other supplies needed to prepare the meal. I even knew what was on the menu from asking several times.

No matter how many times I asked my mother, trying to rush her to finish the meal she would tell me that, “dinner was not ready yet”, but that I could assist her in the process. Often I would decline and pretend to be patiently waiting, but in my mind I was impatiently waiting for what I knew was inevitably coming.

I began to notice the older I became, that if I assisted my mother with dinner the time went by quickly if I was working rather than sitting being fake patient. I also realized that while helping prepare the meal, tasting the food to see its readiness or flavor was part of the process. Which usually held me over until the meal was fully prepared.

Our dreams will inevitably become reality if we are patient and steadily working towards them. Rather than complaining and being fake patient.

ACTING patient is not the same as BEING patient.

If we began to discipline our time toward that which we love soon the right people and opportunities (our ingredients) will come about. In perfect time (God’s timing) it will create a mixture that resembles the dream in which you have dedicated your focus towards.

Never let Time defeat you.

My Mother, a strong women did not let time defeat her. While raising three young men she took courses at a community college, often failing courses from lack understanding of the material and of time available to invest in school as well in her family.

She eventually obtained her Associates degree. After raising her family, she then began and obtained her Bachelors degree, with the honors of Cum Laude. The following semester she began and obtained again with honors her Masters degree, at the age of Sixty.

She has shown true perseverance in her dream of education. All while working no less than two jobs, being active in her church, a loving wife and mother. My mother has been pursing her education for all of my adolescent to adult life. She overcame time and its adversities. So whatever dreams of aspirations, if you persevere you will prevail and time will have no choice but to give up what was already yours. It is on you to claim it.

The thought I wish to provoke is this;

Who will prevail?

You, a child of God and also a creator of reality.

Or

Time, your adversary and split image that exposes self doubt and lack of certainly.

“Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.” –Earl Nightingale
